This year Designersblock takes place at Earl’s Court, running alongside 100% Design, with 5000sq metres of space to showcase the new, the up and coming and the well established.

Taking advantage of some of the generous space, Ella Doran will be constructing an installation that will celebrate her past present and future projects and collections.
Having produced home ware items for many years, Ella’s inspiration for the structure came about on a visit to her tray manufacturer, where she discovered that the substandard seconds are sent to Africa with missionary groups, to be used for roofing tiles in much needed housing projects.

The construction, created from found and reclaimed materials and of course trays, will illustrate the vast possibilities of her textile designs.
Ella Doran aims to inspire you by inviting the visitor to immerse themselves, in a world where the printed photographic pattern rules. Showcasing ideas for future projects and designs alongside brand new products.

Ella Doran at Designersblock is just one of the places where you can encounter her work during the London Design Festival; there is an exciting exhibition at her Cheshire Street Shop (19th September – 3rd October), and her new Geo collection of home ware products will showcase in the Oxo Tower.
