Chorus Design Group at Designersblock Milan 2008

Chorus Design Group are interested in the ways in which design can place the home in the city and the borderlines between interior and exterior.
In Milan they introduced ‘Paoloa’. Outdoor seating in Corian with a mattress like form incorporating an urban abat-jour which is a device to throw light downwards. Here are some pictures of ‘Paoloa’ in action.

Okinczyc & Peczkowski at Designersblock Milan 2008

Product designer Katarznya Okinczyc & graphic designer Igor Peczkowski launched two collections this April in Milan, ‘Dogenvol’ and ‘Bannerina’.
Dogenvol fuses tradition and modern reality to create high end products.
Traditional Polish crystal glass manufacturing combined with pattern and print are used to make fabulous objects like the ‘Cabo’.

In April at Piscina Argelati [we]make cordialy introduced Milano to ‘Beryl & Friends’ Discarded table lamps were collected, shrink-wrapped and brought back to life glowing with LEDs to take on mysterious silhouettes inside their cocoons. Lambert Kamps Art&Design is a studio from The Netherlands. In Milan it presented a vast inflateable structure housing a cinema, bar, special animation and on Saturday night Amsterdam’s finest DJs La Bolleur.
