It’s still January and we’ve got 2009 off to an optimistic start by producing a feature area for United Business Media the organisers of Interiors Birmingham at the NEC.

We were commissioned to produce 120sqm where we presented furniture from Alex Hellum, Ercol and SCP. We had future textiles from newly launched collective Puff and Flock, reactive textiles from Sophie Hedderwick and wallpapers from Timorous Beasties. Lighting came from Chunwei Liao, the Wire Collection from new British company Deadgood, Steve Watson and Tea Un Kim.

KithKin unleashed their Trend Generator, the only software any trends researcher really needs and we had interior sculpture by Carola Wochner and animation from Seung Kwan No. Tableware and ceramics were from Arabeschi Di Latte, Freshwest, Haidee Drew and Reiko Kaneko. We had special selections by Michael Marriott and Alison Britton and a tasty new collaboration with Ercol and Timorous Beasties.
