Martin’s work is a mix of fine contemporary craft and product design. Handmade, using a combination of traditional techniques, modern forms and technology to create distinctive pieces of furniture. His designs are inspired by a direct result from his exposure to nature and modern architecture. Geometric shapes, clean crisp lines and repetition are key themes in his work. Fusing together the basic elements of wood, glass, and steel Martin’s emphasis on using quality modern materials and colour gives his work a fresh contemporary aesthetic.
