Designersblock in collaboration with Kingston University present ‘Connecting Creativity and Business’ bringing together professional and academic speakers who are influential in their fields to share experiences and insights.
The first of these events takes place on May 26th from 14.00 to 19.00 at the London Transport museum

Designersblock award at New Designers

New Designers
Since our launch in 1998 Designersblock has provided support, advice and showcasing opportunities for new businesses and graduating students starting out on their professional careers. This year we have teamed up with New Designers to offer one graduate a fantastic package of support that includes exhibition space, mentoring and desk space at our Shoreditch offices.
The prize will be awarded on the 7th July during week 2 of New Designers. Now in its 26th year, New Designers at the Business Design Centre in Islington is unrivalled in Europe in bringing together such a broad cross-section of fresh, new design talent under one roof. Every July, over 3,500 newly graduated designers, representing the top 200 UK design courses, come together at New Designers to meet industry employers, media, trend predictors and a design hungry public.

Friday, October 9th, 2009Cristina Guitian 1st showed her work with us at the Designersblock:Illustrate show back in 2007 when she created a rather splendid Teddy Bear factory.
Needing a space to create a live piece for the Don’t Panic website Cristina got in touch and asked of we had any ideas of a space she might use.
We were more than happy to give her use of the Designersblock bathroom.
