The Wall of Great China – The New English
Tuesday, January 18th, 2011The Wall of Great China is our celebration of locality, craftsmanship, and British manufacturing. Many of the designers we work with have developed relationships with ceramics manufacturers based in the Potteries in and around Stoke on Trent. In our search for others based in and our around Stoke doing interesting work in ceramics we put out a little call on Twitter and we were tipped off about Paul Bishop of The New English by Designersblock exhibitor Jo Angell who contributed to their Tectonic plates collection. The New English collection is made from traditional English Bone China using techniques perfected 250 years ago, with only the finest materials and unique contemporary designs. Read More…
