It’s not quite a year since we instigated the Bodging Milano project with co-conspiritor Chris Eckersley. The project has moved on quite a bit since the 9 designers went to the forest back in March. Since the 1st sighting at the Salone in April the original Bodging chairs have been seen at the Department of Culture Media and Sport, Designersblock 2010, The V&A, a gallery in South West London. William Warrens has now been taken on by Case and Gitta Gschwendtners is now on sale in Selfridges. We also took the same group to Bodger Dave Greens Sitting Firm factory in the summer, where over a weekend the Bodgers created variations of the chairs from the forest. The entire collection is now in production with Sitting Firm and is launched at interiors 2011.
