yoru ni narumae ni at Designersblock Ventura Lambrate

March 10, 2011

“Yoru ni narumae ni” means in Japanese “before nightfall”. Sayaka Takeshita’s cushions refer to a precious evening time when you finally have the time to rest after a long day.

“I hope my products will help to uplift the evening. The inspiration for my products comes from nature, Japanese culture as well as from world news.
When I was designing the spherical cushions “Tsubomi” I had an image of the bud of flower that is blooming up just now in my mind. That is exactly what “Tsubomi” means in Japanese.”
