As you peep through the the doors you will discover…..

The Naughty Faerie collection which celebrates the power of femininity by reinterpreting iconic fashion accessories using the language of wire and glass. These fashion accessories can also be seen as extensions of the female form,. The collection stimulates our aesthetic imagination, and fantasies and plays with them even further by incorporating lights that create abstract illumination that blurs the lines between fashion and art.

Inspired by the Naughty Faerie collection Hermès commissioned Emerald Faerie in 2008 to create light bags of their iconic Birkin, Kelly, Bombay and the new Rugby bags. These were used as the centerpiece for the launch of their 2008 autumn windows in five stores across America.

Deleve further into this portal to a fairy tale world and your imagination and senses will be stirred by images that emulate the sensuality and fantasy of shoes, their sounds, their shape, form and function, through the film ‘Cinderella’s Revenge- Layers of Interpretation’, a collaboration between film director Catherine Taylor and Emerald Faerie.

Emerald Faerie was recently commissioned by the Victoria and Albert museum to create an installation in their renaissance rooms. The V&A is the UK’s leading museum of art, design and cultural history. This took place as part of the ‘Two’s a Pair’ event that Designersblock curated for the museum as part of the London design festival in 2010. The video below is a dance performance that was one element of her installation, she also created a chandelier live during the event.
