Edward Vince is a designer, curator and practicing artist. He currently works full time with The Future Laboratory where he specialises in strategy led branding projects and design for print, whilst also running Vince & Son, a collaborative studio platform. He cut his teeth with exhibitions, events and projects produced with collective KithKin alongside Designersblock beginning in 2007 at the London Design Festival and subsequently involved exhibitions in Tokyo, Milan and Birmingham and client work for WGSN and Selfridges.
He has recently re-established a 140 year old family business, Vince & Son, and the first collaborative project is well under way. Called ‘Personal Effects’ it aims to build an archive of contributers most valued artifacts, becoming a record of peoples material possessions and values across countries and cultures, resulting in an exhibition and publication.
Ed will be showing his work at the Goldsmiths hall as part of the exhibition we’ve put together for Creative and Cultural Skills on May the 12th.
