All of Newmakers’ products are manufactured to the highest standards combining innovative contemporary design with the very best natural materials available. Attention to detail and strong brand identity are keystones of their philosophy, enabling them to provide products that will last a lifetime.

The company was set up in 2008 by Daniel Cox, a British designer with many years experience in America, Europe and Asia. Together with a small team of assistants Daniel set about creating a wide range of furniture and accessories, all sharing the same qualities of efficiency, beauty, and dignity that the Newmakers brand represents.

Based in the UK, and with manufacturing in SE-Asia, Newmakers combines European design quality with an efficient production base using unusual and beautiful tropical woods. Currently most products are produced in Chiangmai, Northern Thailand, where Daniel spends much time liaising with factories and ensuring the highest levels of quality control.

The environment and society are very important to them. Where possible they only use local renewable materials. This has resulted in some fantastic results using unusual solid woods like coconut and black palm, which always draw admiring glances. The factories they use all comply to international standards and they refuse to deal with manufacturers who treat workers poorly.
