Schoenbrunn Brooch Zitta Schnitt

After a half-year stay in Amsterdam, Zitta Schnitt saw her home town Vienna with different eyes. Her affection for Vienna grew so much, that she decided to create a present for her city. This gift should represent a typical viennese place or building. Therefore the translation of an Architecture to a wearable piece, became a nearby possibility of visualizing “homage to Vienna”. The result is a porcelain brooch, showing the old floor plan of Schönbrunn Palace Vienna, one of the most important historical buildings situated in Vienna.

Since jewellery enters into a powerful relationship with it’s wearer, the “Schönbrunn” brooch can transport romantic memories. At the same time you can keep a strong connection to Vienna, even when being far away from the city.
