Korean ceramic artist, Myung Nam An, has made quite an impression in London with her “ceramic eyes,
faces and tears” collections. Within her work lies a predominant use of color, unusual textures and forms.
Her work’s aim is to stimulate people’s ideals, thoughts, moods and emotions; to instigate our minds to the unexpected and unfamiliar. Myung Nam’s little creatures carry a somewhat exotic and foreign feel which makes them incredibly visual and intriguing to the audience. Welcome to the jungle.
