A design approach that balances between installation and object is no other than Kim Thome’s.
Kim’s work incorporates a blend of mixed graphics and optical play within his products and furniture, tricking the audience with his perspectives and skills of controlling space and forms.
His latest project, “ReflectionRange” is an exploration in reflections communicated through a series of furniture and decorative objects. Think neon colors, geometric shapes, glass, two-way mirror surfaces. Every object changes perspective and dimension when interacted with by the audience which gives the user the ability to choreograph the objects themselves.
