Max Lyne
Max Lyne is a product designer based at RARA,
co-operative studio and workshop space in Clapton, East London.
Prior to moving to London Max spent a year living in the woods of West Sussex as an apprentice of renowned woodsman and permaculture pioneer Ben Law.  Upon leaving the woods he joined RARA in order to continue developing a range of lamps using skills and knowledge acquired from Ben.  Also during this time Max worked for the Greater London Authority assisting with delivery of the 2013 Mayor’s Low Carbon Prize.Max has a background in engineering product design as well as design for addressing social and environmental issues.  He is a passionate believer in practical action to drive change; his products will help support the local woodsmen practicing correct woodland management.
The 2013 Festival Undercroft marks Max’s solo debut into the design world where he will be exhibiting a range of pre-production prototypes.
