Camilla Barnard presents lots of sculptural work and projects, including her new range of 8-bit inspired pixelated lighting. Live throughout the show she will be creating an entirely new collection on site, The italian inspired ‘Italian Stuff made from wood’ will consist of a wide variety of typically italian objects.
‘Blanks’ of the objects will be prepared in her london studio. At the show she will set up a workshop/ showroom environment, reminiscent of her acclaimed installation ‘I’ve got wood, what do you want me to do with it’. as the week progresses she will paint and illustrate on the objects, building up and adding to an dynamic window display.
The new collection will include familiar iconic Italian objects such as a Bialetti, Lavazza coffee pack, Chupa Chups, Italian Stapler, Mulino Bianco biscuits, different types of pasta, uni posca pens, memoranda diary, and many more.
Camilla Barnard is currently represented by L’Arco Baleno, and her work is currently being shown internationally by Anthropologie and Paul Smith.
