Vicky Saragouda works with various forms of media including textiles, leather, metal, drawing and photography. Since graduating she had several group shows in the UK, Europe and North America.
Her new jewellery work investigates materials, which tell their own story. Each artefact has its own identity and the materials add part to this identity. Vicky’s aim is to make people more receptive to the beauty of forming handcrafted jewellery employing various skills and techniques. The entire body of work is made from wool yarns, cardboard, vintage lace, vegetable tanned leather, scrap metal and vintage findings.
