Wow are a group of students from the Master’s programme Child Culture Design in the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, with both Swedish and Chinese backgrounds. They focus on children’s play, children’s perspectives and their specific conditions. With a passion for child culture, they take play very seriously.
With different design skills in graphic, industrial and sustainable design, they pose the question How can sight be used as the main sense in play? By connecting two dimensional patterns with three dimensional shapes they have created a space that you curiously can explore from different angles. With illusions they want to encourage children and adults to interact and play with the furniture together. Use it as a room creator or a scenography for your own imaginary world. A collaboration between Qianxin Zhang, Elina Nilsson and Magdalena Svensson.
